OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 ProProcessor: IntelR Core™ i7-10700T CPU @ 2.00GHz, 1992 Mhz, 8 Cores, 16 Logical Processors RAM: 16.0 GBVersion: 22H2I want to play the Sega CD version of The Terminator which is available to play online on a bunch of different websites but the problem is that the emulation of the game itself regardless of the website, runs extremely poorly when using Microsoft Edge. I get very low frame rates with choppy audio. https://www.playretrogames.com/4623-the-terminator but the strange thing is if I use Brave then the game runs absolutely perfect at a solid 60 FP

Windows 10 Retro Gaming Issues

From the description provided, it seems that two games has two different problems which cannot be caused by a common issue. I would try to help you with the information to help you in this issue.

As an initial recommendation, I would suggest you to reinstall the game RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN in compatible mode of Windows Vista 7 and check if the issue still persists.

With regards to the issue of admin privileges required for running the game DOOM 3, I suggest you to check if you are logged in to the computer using an Administrator account. If you are and still it continues to notify you, I suggest you to enable the built
in Administrator Account and check with the results.

Follow the below steps.

• Press the Windows key + R from the keyboard to open the Run Command Dialog Box
• Enter cmd and right-click on the Command Prompt result that should appear.
  
• This opens a list of options at the bottom. Select Run as administrator there.
  
• Accept the UAC prompt
• Enter the following command to enable the hidden administrator account:
  net user administrator /active:yes

Windows Won't Let Me Run An Emulator

Hi, I have built a controller that looks like its from a retro arcade and I was going to use an emulator called "MAME" to use it, but when I tried to open the emulator it gave me a screen that said, Windows protected your PC Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting Running this app might put your PC at risk. I have looked on line and everyone says that this emulator is the best one to use, I don't know if I should just run the emulator or try to find a new one that works

We suggest that you open Microsoft Edge via Run just to verify if Microsoft Edge is installed in the PC. If it comes up, pin it to the taskbar.

To open Microsoft Edge via Run, see steps below:

• Open Run by pressing the Windows key + R.
• In the text field, type microsoft-edge: and then click
  OK.
