Windows 10: Why does only Edge work and no other Browser?

From one of my Reddit Posts:A few days ago chrome stopped working, just couldn't be opened anymore, it would flash for a brief moment and then close again. Since I wanted to swithc to brave for some time I installed it over Edge, but I am not used to Edge . It worked for a minute or so and the it also crashed. I went trough the usual steps of figuring out the problem: Rebooting, reinstalling browsers and drivers and disabled all autostart apps. Absolutely nothing helped. I could open brave and chrome in another userprofile and in a Saeboot with networking enabled. I figured, that I have so

I would suggest you to try restarting Microsoft Edge Browser and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

  Open task manager right click on Microsoft Edge and go to details click on microsoftedgeCP.exe and click end task
  
•

Site links not working in Chrome or Edge

Have you tried resetting your browser? If not, we suggest you to do so. To reset Edge, follow these steps:

• 
  Go to
  Browser Settings.
  
• 
  Clear
  Browser Data.
  
• 
  Close the browser and launch it again.
  

If the issue persist, follow these other steps:

• 
  Go to
  Task Manager.
  
• 
  Click on
  MicrosoftedgeCP.exe
  
• 
  End the task.
