Windows 10: Why does Outlook Classic no longer open as of mid-December 2024.

Why does Outlook Classic no longer open as of mid-December 2024. Outlook.exe shows in task manager, but a window never opens. I have tried to open from the Help:Outlook Classic option in the New Outlook window. and from a desktop shortcut that worked up until about a week ago.

I don't use CS or have not used it recently. If you mean start menu apps then you just add

"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu"

Hi, suddenly found I no longer have an expanded Control Panel from Classic Shell 4.3.1 - used to list all the applets.

Display as a Link works, but not 'Display as a Menu'.




I'm wondering if this happened after an update to build 1709? Thanks.
