    regarding the sound system icon he doesnt play and the audio will not work

    dear sir i have a problem regarding the audio and the task bar the speaker icon was see to cross and the audio will not work so how can i do so plz help and contact me and fast reply i need your suggestion

    Speaker icon on task bar not responding to clicks

    Acer - Aspire - 4739Z - laptop

    The speaker (volume) icon on the task bar is not responding to clicks - either left click or right click.

    Unable to adjust the volume when playing videos and audios.

    There was a solution in a community portal saying to restart the Windows explorer on Task Manager.

    It works, but only for the session. This has to be done every time I start the system - very annoying.

    Speaker icon not responding

    Windows 10 v 1909.Firefox.I have a VIA HD Audio Win 10 system for sound and video and eveything is working
    ok.My problem is that when I need to lower the sound volume whilst playing,the speaker icon on the task bar is not responding
    so I am unable to do this.I`ve tried the sound troubleshooter but no luck,any suggestions?
