    Why does Storage Space say 4.63GB being used but actual Temp Files space is actually MUCH...


    Just like my question here says. When doing a regular cleanup of my storage spaces, my temp files routinely say that some f odd GB of space are being used but when I go to clean them up, what actually gets cleaned up tends to be MUCH smaller and I have no clue what else I can do to deal with this....And before you suggest it...I've tried CC cleaner, disk cleanup, manually looking around, and even reinstalling Windows. Literally nothing works and it keeps saying I'm using F.6 some odd GB of temporary file space but literally nothing I have seems to back that up..I've have this PC for under a ye

    Storage Spaces Actual Available Space (Windows10)?

    I am testing storage spaces in Windows 10 to store a large amount of data. I am currently testing with a mixture of drive sizes using parity. The available space reports the size of the pool which is not the actual available capacity. Is there any way
    to query how much data I can actually write to the space before I will be told to add more disks? I am using 2x128GB, 1x250GB and 1x500GB with parity resilience. I would assume the available space would be something like three times the smallest disk because
    I know one disk will be used for parity. Is there any way to get the actual available space with a powershell query or something else?

    Storage Spaces Actual Available Space (Windows10)?

    I don't actually understand you question:

    1) You know the total capacity as you know individual disk capacity

    2) You know the actual available space as it it shown by WIndows (as you wrote)

    Which information is missing that should be queried? You want to know the available space before creating storage spaces directly from WIndows?
