  1. Why does the 2560 x 1440 screen resolution disappear when I connect a 2nd monitor?

I have been using 2 different sized monitors for a few years now on Windows 10 with my main display at 2560 x 1440 resolution and my 2nd monitor at 1920 x 1080. After upgrading to windows 11 yesterday, that's no longer an piton. When only connected to monitor 1, the correct resolution of 2560 x 1440 is available, but that option disappears and forces the resolution to 1920 x 1080 on both monitors as soon as the 2nd monitor is connected. This makes everything too large and a little bit blurry on the main display. Does anyone know how to correct this?

    :)

    UHD Resolution for external monitor.....(2560 x 1440)

I have a Samsung Laptop (550P7C) the in-built Graphics Card (Intel HD Graphics 4000: Driver version, 10.18.10.5059) will not "offer" me higher resolution than 1920 x 1080.

    The laptop is capable of supporting 3840 x 2160 (I require: 2560 x 1440)

I have been told by Samsung that this is a "Default Setting" and cannot me upgraded...

I have just purchased a ViewSonic 32" UHD Monitor, (I am a Graphic Designer) specifically for my work, and wonder if your software will operate on my laptop, bearing in mind the default firmware is set as
    1920 x 1080.....?

    Please advise. Phil
