    Why does the cursor jump backwards when typing?


    This looks like a repeat of an older version problem as there is a closed thread from 2011 with this same issue. As I am typing the Windows system will do a quick "waiting circle" then suddenly my cursor is back 3-5 words. It's almost as if the system has to save as I go, which is fine, but it should not jump backwards. Is there a fix for this lag&jump?

    Cursor Jumping Backwards

    I use Windows 10. For some reason lately, right in the middle of typing a sentence (primarily in Yahoo Mail), my cursor will jump back to the beginning of the sentence. I don't even realize it until I look up and see that the last half of my sentence has
    moved to the beginning. Any suggestions?

    Why does the cursor jump backwards when typing?

    types backwards

    Computer will suddenly type any words entered backwards, screen will not scroll down (only flicker and jump), an icon selected on desktop will only display the icon listed at top of desktop, no matter which icon I select.
