    Why does the Error come Kernel file not found in OS installation?


    I was installing PrimeOSandroid os and it came with a installer after installation the system restarted and an error came while booting error: no such device: //android/kernel, the kernel file is still in the partition. I have attached my system info, Error screen.I turned off the secure boot while doing this whole thing but i again turned it on so in screenshot secure boot is shown ON but please do consider that secure boot was OFF at the time.I tried to install manually by bootable USB, but when I hit enter to install PrimeOS the system restarts and boots

    The Windows 10 error Kernel Data Inpage Error refers to a missing or corrupt page of kernel data in a Windows page file. To help you in resolving this, I'd like to know more information. Kindly answer the questions below:

    • Did you make any changes on your device prior to the issue?
    • What is the build and version of Windows currently installed? To check,
      Press & hold the Windows Key and press the R key. In the RUN dialog, type WINVER and press the Enter key
    • Do you any third-party security software installed?

    In the meantime, I would suggest that you run the troubleshooting steps on this
    link to fix blue screen errors.

    error in windows 10 unexpected kernel mode trap

    I found that once the install failed with this kernel mode error, it just kept on restarting and the error changed to unable to find boot device. When I created a recovery USB from another machine, it returned to the kernel mode message and round again.


    Eventually I ended up restoring a system image and am now back to Windows 7 and wondering how to make sure I'm more successful next time.

    Would any of the suggested steps help with this? I'm assuming that until I retry the install I won't get this message coming up.

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)
