Windows 10: Why does the File Explorer not open after upgrading Windows 11 to the 23h2 version?

Dear allI upgraded my Windows to the 23h2 version a few days ago. But after upgrading, the file explorer does not open. I have considered the solutions proposed on the websites such as "restarting the file explorer from the task manager", "restarting the system", or "using the SFC" but they don't work. How can I solve the issue?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Hey Friends, this is Gavin Mathos here & currently using Windows 11, Version: 22H2 OS.

I am eagerly waiting for launch & testing the upcomming "Windows 11, Version: 23H2" OS. What are the new feature you will see in the upcomming "Windows 11, Version: 23H2" OS.

Any information as to when Microsoft has planned to release the new Windows 11, Version: 23H2" OS.

Window 11 23H2 failed to upgrade with 0x800f081f

The most successful method to install version 23H2 is to use the Windows 11 ISO.

Please follow the steps, this is then just an update and your personal files, settings and installed software will not be affected.

to download the Windows 11 ISO

When the ISO file completes downloading

Disconnect from the Internet

Disconnect all external devices with the exception of a mouse or keyboard.

Temporarily disable any 3rd party Anti-virus you may have installed

Then, in Windows File Explorer, double click the ISO and then run Setup.exe and select the upgrade option.
