Windows 10: Why does the idiotic digital clock have to be permanently located in the worst possible...

I now have windows 11, and I'm very unhappy with the location of the digital clock, it's located in the worst possible place... Windows 10 had it down in the lower left corner, now it's right smack in the worst place, every picture I try to use for my lock screen is obliterated by the clock.... Why isn't there a means for use to move it to a better location, to suit ourselves rather than where some "genius" THINKS it should it should be... It's my PERSONAL lock screen on my PERSONAL Desktop, so I should have the means of PERSONALIZING it to my own taste

When I turn on windows 10 (before log on) I see nice picture with digital clock and date (on left bottom corner).
Is the way to have this clock on desktop permanent? (do NOT advice GADGETS)

Change location

Hi,

Changing the location of your Windows 10 device is possible. Follow these steps to change the location information on Windows 10:

• Go to Control Panel.
• Click on Clock, Language, and Region and then select Region.
• Click on Location tab.
• Under the Home location, click the drop-down button and then choose your location.
• Click on Apply button and then click OK.

Note: Changing the location in Windows 10 is limited to changing which country or region you are in.

What's changing my clock between analogue and digital?

I can't remember exactly how it went on Anna but if you go into the Clock app on Belle and tap the clock once so it changes between analogue and digital, the system setting also changes between analogue and digital. Maybe Anna is the same.



On Anna more things were affected by the analogue/digital system setting but on Belle this setting does nothing else apart from change how the clock in the Clock app looks as the notification bar is always digital and the clock widgets are whatever you choose
from the widget list.
