Windows 10: Why does the new "Minecraft For Windows" say it is "not playable" on my device?

    Why does the new "Minecraft For Windows" say it is "not playable" on my device?


    I updated to the new Minecraft launcher yesterday and with it a "Minecraft for Windows" option was added. I'm pretty sure I own this version and my PC meets the spec requirement so I'm unsure why this error is appearing. Here's the screenshot below:

    Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

    It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

    There is a complete step by step available, if you have any issues ...

    It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

    When you say that
    • When you say that "Minecraft isn't very playable", from where exactly have you installed Minecraft game on the computer? Have you installed Minecraft through Windows 10 store or through Minecraft software?
    • Have you checked the issue while playing other games on the computer?
