    Why does the sticker on my pc say I have 16gb ram installed but it has only 6gb?


    Is this a glitch or did I just buy a knock off

    says windows not genuine after i upgraded ram from 6gb to 16gb(windows 7 home premium)

    16GB RAM only 8GB usable on Windows 10 x64

    have 16GB of RAM installed on my computer, but only 8GB is usable. I am running Windows 10 x64. I have tried the following steps to fix this issue, but they have not worked:

    1. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version.
    2. I have tried reseating the RAM modules.
    3. I have tried using different RAM modules.
    4. I have tried run-MSConfig
    I am still not able to use all 16GB of RAM. Any suggestions?

    Oh? It looks like if I buy a 16GB Ram upgrade i will only receive 15 Why does the sticker on my pc say I have 16gb ram installed but it has only 6gb? :p
