  1. Why does the Windows 10 OS 64-bit System Files take up like 154 GB of my SSD?

I've searched everywhere and it said the Windows 10 OS 64-bit System Files require only 20-25 GB. I have a 250 GB SSD which got completely corrupted by a virus so I completely formatted it and reinstalled the Windows 10 OS in it, but it shows that 154 GB space is occupied by the system and reserved files. I don't know how to remove excess reserved files or remove the unnecessary system files if there are. Please help me solve this, without the need of reinstalling Windows again, I really am not in the mood to do it again.

    :)

  2. 64 GB committed charge in windows 10 Pro?

So i built a new system with 32 GB ram (2x16) and installed Windows 10 pro on a 250 GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD and when i checked my task manager i see committed charge a bit too high (64 GB), so the question is, should i let it be? i left my page file as system managed cause well am not bothered by it and with 32 GB it'll never use much of the page file. I am also not actually concerned about the space on my SSD, by that i mean i am not going to install any games and software on that drive, as they will be on separate ssd's, so basically this entire 250 GB is just for OS and nothing more. The reason i ask this question is cause my C drive tends to go bigger over time cause of save games (lots and lots of save games like skyrim alone can take up anywhere from 20 GB to 50 GB), documents, installing mods for games and some log files which is why i left 250 GB for the system drive. So will i be space starved if i leave it at 64 GB ? Also i dunno how to reduce the side of committed charge without reducing page file

  3. Upgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit to Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit

Yesterday, I received my new SSD. It's a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB. Previously I had received my Crucial 2x8GB = 16 GB Memory Upgrade. My next task is to open my PC and Remove my current 80 GB SSD and replace it with my new 250GB SSD and Install the added
    2 8GB Memory Upgrade Sticks.

I went to my local PC shop and explained the steps:

    • Remove My 80GB SSD which has my W7 32-Bit Ultimate OS and all my Programs and Program Data, etc.
    • Install My Blank 250GB SSD
    • Use My W7 64-Bit Ultimate Product Disk to Install W7 64-Bit Ultimate on my new SSD
My PC shop staff concurred with this strategy.

Why does the Windows 10 OS 64-bit System Files take up like 154 GB of my SSD?

    Is 64 bit OS useful??????.

    Independent of ram,

Installing 64 bit OS is useful or not?????

Some are saying that installing 64 bit OS is not much useful.

As it uses double amount of data than 32 bit.

Even we have more than 4 GB ram like 6 GB ram, they are telling that it doesn't improve much performance.

So please tell 64 bit OS is useful or not????????
