    Why does this task manager issue happen ?


    Been having this issue since I had my laptop.Task manager becomes sluggish/more unresponsive/slow whenever I use USB tethering from my phone. Why does this happen ?Video : https://streamable.com/7dx4l2?src=player-page-shareIt doesnt happen as soon as I connect it. Happens after opening task manager once or twice OR when I put it in the background. Nothing fixes it until I unplug and replyg the USB connection USB Tethering.I'm using Windows 11, tried formatting 4-5 times till date. Played around with drivers, etc, nothing fixed it yet permanently.

    No restart button in task manager

    another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

    Scroll issues in Task Manager, Windows 10

    steps to reproduce the problem

    1. open task manager
    2. click on more details if its not
    3. go to performance tab
    4. decrease its height till it has two scrolls for the two sections
    5. hover over the right section (CPU, Memory, …) and try to scroll

    what is expected to happen

    the right section to scroll

    what went wrong

    the left section is scrolling instead

    UAC prompt for Task Manager. MMC blocked. What happened?

    It's possible that Computer Management is being blocked by SmartScreen. We suggest disabling it and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Type smartscreen in the search bar.
    3. Click Change SmartScreen settings.
    4. Click the drop-down arrow in the Security row.
    5. Click Change settings beneath the WindowsSmartScreen row.
    6. Click Don't do anything (turn off Windows SmartScreen).
    7. Click OK.
