Windows 10: Why does update KB5044033 & KB5044099 date 10/9/24 keeps restarting my computer?

I get this error message. Win 10 update on 9/24

I rountinely accept installation of MS updates within 2-3 days of notification, so as I was shutting down my Win 10 this morning (9/24), I noticed there was an update, so I selected update and restart. I have no idea which release this is but when it started,
the message said it would take a while. It's been over an hour and my screen is now black with the circling white dots. How long should I allow that to run before taking action? And what should that action be?

My computer is a Dell XPS 2720 with Win 10.

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

Thanks for your patient help and analysis, zbook. I'll step through some of your suggestions over the next few days - there's a lot to do and some look a bit hairy! That is, for a PC that is working sweetly right now...
