Windows 10: Why does Windows 10 keep on changing my desktop settings between devices?

I own 3 PC:s that all run Windows 10 and I have different settings on all of them because I have them for different purposes. I also have a digital license for Windows 10 per device. But sometimes Windows decides to move my settings from one PC to another and for no reason the colours and desktop background becomes the same on all my PC:s. Can someone tell me what I am doing to cause this?

You can disable tablet mode in settings

Disabling Tablet Mode :

• Go to the Tablet Mode tab under Settings -> System -> Tablet Mode
• Toggle the "make Windows more touch friendly" option off.
• Select whether the device switches modes automatically ->change to Dont Ask/Don't Switch.

 

Windows 10 desktop icons not in order

In ccleaner, did you uncheck cleaning the icon cache... have not used in a while; however, I think that is what the option is called.

Now, if you are setting the icons and they move after you have set the settings and not changed them... you may have the "Random Windows 10 Icon movement problem".
Some people have this and some don't.

• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
