Windows 10: Why does Windows 10 programs trying to connect internet without my permission?

I am using windows 10 and i am using virus program mcafee for internet protection.Whenever i start my laptop and when i want to play a game online or while playing, I am getting warnings from Mcafee program and it is saying that some programs are trying to connect to internet, allow or block etc. When i check the programs, they are mostly win10 softwares. they are doing something at back ground all the time. There is an option at windows 10 to upgrade its softwares. Even though i am pausing updates for a week for example, it is still happening. I cant know every software and i cant block eve

Try the following steps:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Click “View All”
  
• 
  Select "Internet Explorer connection"

Windows 10 permissions...

Ok so I feel officially dumb I am trying to copy my steam library to my NAS. Both are on windows 10 pro and both have full control in the file manager. Neither windows nor fast copy will allow me to copy, both list a permissions error? This was never an issue with windows 7...so first off thank you microsoft god forbid I want to back up my data, second off what the heck do I need to do to make this work. All I could fine online was to set full control and that obviously didn't help.

Also robocopy doesn't apparently work with network locations?

How is the NAS on windows 10 Pro? Is it software or a share? Did you check ntfs vs share permissions?
