Windows 10: Why does Windows 10 update has to be so frustrating?

Why?

It's not so much even about the particular problem that I'm facing, but the general approach.

In this day and age people LIVES may depend on the working software.

And what Microsoft does is that it FORCES us to perform the updates and spend A LOT OF TIME to do it.

It takes a lot of space which I don't have, a lot of time which I don't have.


Why can't the process be simple and transparent?

Why it has to be so indirect?

I'm trying to install an update, I get a failure, Windows tells me that it will try again in some hours, HELLO, you leave me no choice but to install the update but at the same time you do not FIX the problem.

I run troubleshooter -- it doesn't help, I try to attempt installing update again -- again same error, I'm basically stuck.

Basic update procedure doesn't even allow a simple and transparent way to retry the update.

If it's so out of concern for me, then please, make sure that while removing freedom of at least understanding what's going on to also FIX the problems.


Again, this is unacceptable, you must do something about it, peoples' LIVES may be affected while you force your updates.
Good thing that probably medical and other equipment probably doesn't use Microsoft soft.

But even beyond that, there are bunch of things which affect people's lives in serios ways and what you do is frustrate everyone with your untransparent faily updates.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
