TL;DR:1. How do I get Windows 11 to permanently disallow monitor audio and never connect to it ever again? 2. How do I get Windows 11 to pick up my bluetooth headphones without me having to restart my computer three times?I really want to know who designed the sound settings for Windows 11, who the product designer was, who the developer was, what they were saying in their meetings discussing this aspect of the operating system...because it's the most frustrating thing to deal with, and I have no idea why anyone at Microsoft would design it the way they have. First, let's start with monitors

Unable to detect Bluetooth headphones in audio devices in Windows 11

Hello Muhammad, sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

1.The Handsfree Telephony feature can sometimes interfere with Bluetooth audio playback, treating it as a phone call instead of regular audio. Disabling this feature may resolve the issue:

Right-click the Start menu and select "Settings".

    Click on "Bluetooth & devices".

Under "Audio", click on the Bluetooth headphones entry.

Scroll down and uncheck the "Handsfree Telephony" option.

2.The Audio Sink setting allows your Bluetooth device to receive audio from your computer. Ensure it is enabled:

Follow the same steps as above to access the Bluetooth headphones properties.

Under "Services", check the "Audio Sink" option.

3.Restarting the Bluetooth Support Service can sometimes resolve connectivity issues:

Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.

    Type "services.msc" and press Enter.

Locate the "Bluetooth Support Service" entry.

Right-click on it and select "Restart".

4.Sometimes, removing all Bluetooth devices and re-pairing your headphones can resolve the issue:

Go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth & devices".

Under "Audio", remove all listed devices.

Turn off and back on your Bluetooth headphones.

Click "Add Bluetooth or other device" and follow the prompts to re-pair your headphones.

  3. Unable to detect Bluetooth headphones in audio devices in Windows 11

    Hello everyone !

I am trying to connect my bluetooth headphones with the laptop. They are still connecting to the PC using the Bluetooth but when I want to change the audio device to this bluetooth headphones the device is not in the list of the audio devices. I have tried it with 2 different headphones and still the same issue.

for example I have a connected headphone in my laptop currently. But its not visible in the list of the audio devices

What I have tried already and did not work :

    1. Updating the Bluetooth and audio drivers.
    2. Downloaded the drivers from the manufacturer website for the model and installed them . Once installed i restarted to see the affects
    3. Ran windows troubleshooter.

Can't hear audio on bluetooth headphones even though they are connected and audio is playing

I am experiencing an issue with my Windows 11 laptop (ASUS TUF FX 505DT) when using JBL Bluetooth headphones and AirPods (I think the problem is definitely not with these headphones as they work on other laptop). Initially, both devices connect successfully and play audio without any problems. However, after a few minutes, the audio stops playing through the headphones/AirPods even though they remain connected, and the audio playback on the computer continues as if everything is normal.

The issue was present on Windows 10, but I clean installed Windows 11 and the issue is still present. Also when I turn off bluetooth on the laptop, the bluetooth button appears grey and I can't interact with it. Sometimes it returns to normal after some period or other times it completely disappears from quick settings. And in the device manager the bluetooth adapter icon has an exclamation mark and device status states the following: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

So usually I need to restart the laptop. But then again after initial work after the restart, the issue with audio repeats.

Here are the steps I've taken to try and resolve the issue:

    1. Reconnected the headphones and AirPods multiple times.
    2. Updated the Bluetooth drivers.
    3. Reinstalled the Bluetooth drivers downloaded from OEM.
    4. Restarted the laptop several times.
    5. Plugged off the charger and shut down the laptop by holding the power button
    6. Clean installed Windows 11 and installed all of the available updates
