Windows 10: Why does Windows 11 File Explorer display multiple instances of the same folders?

I just bought a new PC with Windows 11 pre-installed. File Explorer shows multiple instances of the same folders see the screenshot below:There are more duplicates if I expand Users -- it again duplicates Folders that are already in the list. Also, I can tell the duplicates with same names seem to be just one Folder, displayed in several places, because if I add a new Text File, it appears in the other Folders that have the same name.How can this be corrected?My Thanks in advance!

Multiple tabs in File Explorer

Love the new option in File Explorer for multiple tabs.

I have been unable to find a way to re-open all tabs in a single instance of File Explorer. When I select the Option to "Restore previous folder windows at logon", File Explorer opens a new instance for each of the tabs that I previously had open. I would certainly prefer for a single instance to open with the previous tabs in one instance, the same as what I can do in Windows Internet Explorer.

Multiple instances of Windows Explorer

So in the Processes tab, under Apps, however many Windows Explorers I actually have open is however many it will list, and expanding will list the specific folder that is open, there is no problem there. The problem is when you scroll down to Windows processes, that's where all the multiple instances are. Right now it's only showing 7 but that is because I restarted my computer a couple hours ago, I've counted as many as 40+ before.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
