    Why does Windows 11 keep changing AMD Vega 8 drivers?


    Ever since I updated to Windows 11 I've been having issues with my AMD chipset. The problem appears after every other system update. The first symptoms usually are limited to a black screen and/or a system crash. Then my Vega 8 is visible as offline and can't be turned back on. Windows simply replaces the drivers. To put them back in I need to reinstall AMD Software when I try to use the app I get an error. My question is not how to fix it. What I'm asking is why does it keep happening? I'ts now the fifth time I have to do this. I've never experienced this issue while using Linux on the same

    Hello Microsoft Team,

    I would like to ask you why AMD Ryzen™ 3 2200G with Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics processor is not supported for Windows 11 upgrade? This is only item which is not compatible for Windows 11, shown after my system check for this upgrade. Frankly, I do not see much difference between AMD Ryzen™ 3 3200G with Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics, which is on the compatibility list and my processor ( AMD Ryzen™ 3 2200G with Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics) installed in my PC, which is not. Launch date between both is only 6-7 months and Processor Technology for CPU Cores 14nm is still one of the latest (and this is basically only difference, that I have found between them - R3 3200G uses 12nm - and cannot be a serious complication for Windows11 support). Have you tested it? I know, that many people uses such a processor and I even know, that some of them already use windows 11 in their PCs and it runs smoothly. It would be nice, if you tested it with this processor and ad it to the compatibility list please, so that many users will be entitled for Windows 11 upgrade Why does Windows 11 keep changing AMD Vega 8 drivers? :)

    AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics not working

    Hi Kevin,

    I forgot to mention in my post that the driver has error code 43. Also, when i go to the AMD drivers site, i can't find AMD Radeon vega 8 graphics. Does it go by any other names?

    My amd ryzen 5 pro 2400GE w/radeon vega graphics is not compatible with Windows 11? It is only1 year old WINDOWs. WHAT DO I DO?
