Windows 10: Why does windows 11 move my icons on my desktop after saving files?

when I download a pic from my phone, or a file from somewhere else, I have always put it on my desktop - I have a lot of empty space on there as I don't like clutter. Windows 10 always just put it in the empty space, Windows 11 moves all of my icons and puts it in the top left hand corner, or moves something else to put it in it's place. Is there anyway to stop this happening? It is really frustrating, I have my icons/apps the way I want them, it's annoying to have to reset them every time I download something.I have the icons set to align with the grid but not auto arrange.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

In ccleaner, did you uncheck cleaning the icon cache... have not used in a while; however, I think that is what the option is called.

Now, if you are setting the icons and they move after you have set the settings and not changed them... you may have the "Random Windows 10 Icon movement problem".
Some people have this and some don't.
