Windows 10: Why does Windows 11 shut down and close out all programs when going to sleep?

I swear on general relativity the answer is not an incorrect power plan, do not even begin to suggest that answer again. There have been numerous threads opened regarding this issue, and this has not resolved the issue for anyone, so do not mark it resolved. Windows 11 is clearly faulty, as I have seen many systems in my personal computers and at work, all windows 11 systems will reboot upon initiating sleep. There is still no resolution for this, I have used every power plan suggestion involving hybrid sleep settings, hibernate settings, and disabling fast startup. No combination of settings

When close lid during shutting down, PC go into sleep.

Hello,
I've got a problem (or a feature ? Not so sure) that when I finish my work, I shutting down my laptop, while waiting it to be shut down, I close the lid.
The problem is when I close the lid, the laptop go into sleep mode, and when I back to work, I open the lid to press the power button and it resume the 'shut down' process.
This hasn't happen before, any suggestion ? Many thanks

computer doesn't shut down or go to sleep when I close lid, thus draining my battery over night. my setting set to sleep when I close lid. when left plugged in it still doesn't shut down . any suggestions ?

When your computer is in hibernate mode, does all your programs have been shut off or closed? May we know what's the specific program that you use? Let's try to reset Power schemes. Please follow the steps below:

• Right on Start button, > select Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• Copy and paste the command below:
  

powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

• When finished, close the command prompt then reboot your PC.
