Windows 10: Why does Windows 11 wifi struggle to reconnect after laptop is awaken?

Ever since upgrading to windows11, my PC struggles to reconnect to my wifi after I close the lid and re-open it.I open the lid and the network icon says not connected. It sometimes takes minutes to reconnect and occasionally requires a reboot. And yes, I have done the following: Installed the latest Windows 11 updatesUpdated the wifi device driversRun the Windows Network troubleshooter nothing is ever foundTurned off option to "allow Windows to turn off the device to save power" in the Device ManagerSet the PC to Never Sleep while plugged in which is all the time Forgot network and the rec

Username/Password Prompts whenever Laptop awakens

Since upgrading my Dell XPS15 to WIn10, I keep getting this Windows Security box that pops up every time my laptop awakens from sleep or when I try to change Wifi sources. The box says Windows Security and has a box for Username and a box for Password,
and then says Domain, which has no place to type anything. It seems to have something to do with wifi connections, but the wifi works without ever putting anything in the username/password area. If I X out the box, it will disconnect me from wifi, then I reconnect,
get the box pop up, X it out, etc. I do this for a few rounds and the warning doesn't come back and wifi works normally. Any thoughts?

Anomalous WiFi Reconnection

Wondering what (if anything) this was about: WiFi disconnected on wife's computer.

1. Checked, WiFi itself working.
2. Ran Network Trouble Shooter, which usually fixes such problems; failed.
3. Ran Hardware Trouble Shooter, nothing found.
4. Checked Wireless Card in Device Manager; indicated as working properly.
5. Restarted computer; still no WiFi.
6. Although Notification icon was black, clicked on it to see if anything there, found that the WiFi network was "Secured." Clicked on that, saw that it was set to connect automatically, clicked on that, failed. Tried once more, failed, so deselected automatic connection, clicked again, and WiFi was reconnect instantaneously.

I think that that covers most, if not all of the steps I took to fix the problem. Any idea as to what caused this, and as to why non-automatic reconnect worked without even asking for the router's password?

 

WiFi Cuts Out on Win10--Have to Put Laptop to Sleep to Reconnect!

My ASUS X540S with Windows 10 will connect to my home WiFi fine for about 20 minutes, but will then suddenly disconnect. The name of the home WiFi will still be listed as secure, but when I try to connect to it, I get the message
"Can't connect to this network." The only way to successfully reconnect is to put the laptop to sleep and then wake it up, which is time consuming and frustrating. This problem is exacerbated by temperature change and planes flying
overhead, but I know the problem isn't the WiFi/router because my smartphone is connected to it and experiences little to no interruptions. Any suggestions? Thank you for taking time out to help, it is greatly appreciated!
