Windows 10: Why does Windows Change my Sign-In Options Every Day

I prefer to sign in with a PIN. When I reboot my computer, or it goes to sleep and locks the screen, It comes back up wanting to sign in with my Micorsoft Password. II have to click on the link that says sign in options underneath to select PIN.I've used settings to re-select sign-in options, by that's a waste of time. It doesn't do anything.This has happened ever since the last update of Windoze.My wife has a similar setup, but so far had not seen this "feature."What is it called when a piece of software changes something on your computer against your wishes?

Cannot change the require sign-in options in sign in options

I understand the inconvenience caused to you regarding the change of Required sign-in options but in RED is stated that "authentication is required when this pc awake from sleep and security policies on PC are preventing to change
settings". I will certainly assist you.

Please answer the below question to assist you better.

Did you make any changes in the power options of the system?

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X and then click on
  Control Panel.
• Click on the Power options.
• Click on Required a password on Wakeup
• In the Password protection on Wake up click on
  Don’t required password.
