    Why does Windows keep re-installing Microsoft Office even when it is already installed?


    Hi, I have been using Microsoft apps like power point, excel, word for like 3 years and I have never encountered this problem. Today, when I created a new excel file, it started showing Preparing to Install. I don't understand why it is happening when it is already installed and I have been using them since a long time. What should I do now?Thank you,Pranav

    Our IT department sent a note about home use (Office 365, specifically), and this warning:

    A suggestion... re-install Office 2010, then try to install 2013?

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Use the windows installer clean-up proggy, see if it's listed, and remove it if so.
