Windows 10: Why does Wndows security keep on sending pop ups requesting a password on outlook

. I keep on getting this pop up on Outlook, it does not go away. Its only on one of my email addresses which is a Microsoft exchange, its almost as if my Exchange email address not want to to talk to Microsoft or windows security. Tried uninstalling, and re-installing, rebooting, nothing works. My enitre outlook then hangs. To access my other email addresses I have to restart Outlook every time. The email address works on the back end at hexonline, but not on my laptop.I cant seem to copy and pastes the screen shot of the pop up.

Outlook 2016-Gmail not sending, password for SMTP, tried ports 465 587

Thanks in advance for your time. I have 2 Gmails set up in Outlook 2016. My back-up Gmail is set up as an IMAP/SMTP account, and it's working fine (no jinx). My primary email is set up as POP/SMTP, and as of approximately 4 days ago, I can no longer send email from Outlook. The "Enter your user name and password for the following server" message keeps popping up for the smtp.gmail.com server. (In the past, when I've received this pop up, I've spent hours troubleshooting, and then 1 or 2 days later, the pop ups eventually cease on their own. I've assumed something was going on with Google, they resolved it, and my problem ceases.)

This time, I've tried port changes, and I can see on support forums that other people have had similar problems over the last few months. For the past several years, Outlook SMTP has been set to port 465 (SSL/TLS) with no problems. I have tried ports 25 and 587, but no luck.

I am able to receive email when I restart my Outlook. Upon restart, the "Enter your user name and password for the following server" message pops up once for the pop.gmail.com server, and when I hit "OK," Outlook accepts my password, and the error ceases. However, Outlook will NOT accept my password for the SMTP server.

In Google Security, "enable less secure apps" is ENABLED, and "two-step verification" is OFF.

Outlook 2016 Password Pop UP

Under Win 10 1709 when I open Outlook 2016, it checks each of my three email accounts for mail just fine. But, if I leave it running minimized it ask for my passwords for each of my accounts. I click OK and the pop up goes away. Outlook continues to check for new mail even when the pop up is on the screen.

What do I need to do to prevent this pop up from happening? It has been going on for several months spasmodically and I'm getting tired of it.

2007 Outlook prompts for password after yahoo change password

Hello,
I just changed my Yahoo email password, and signed in via IE and works fine.
Then I went into my Outlook 2007 Yahoo email account and changed the password.
However when I try to send/receive email from outlook on the Yahoo account it pops up requesting the password.
I have removed the account and set it up again but problem is the same.
Any ideas please?
