    Why doesn't "Compact view" in File Explorer work any more?


    I have tried every possible way to turn "Compact View" on in File Explorer for Windows 11 but nothing has worked since an update in December 2022. I have done all subsequent updates.I want to see the file spacing on the right of this image, not the left:

    Why isn't "compact view" in File Explorer working?

    I can't get "compact view" in file explorer to work. It says it's on everywhere I check. I've even checked the registry editor to make sure it's on. It's all good. But for some reason, despite being "on," my files still do not show up in compact view.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
