Windows 10: why doesn't Microsoft allow you to toggle between 2 languages without having to restart your PC

I am learning Japanese and I am using a course which asks me to at times answer using Japanese characters however upon speaking to Microsoft helpline for a very longtime it was established it is not possible without having to restart my PC


My Apple Iphone can do this but my PC using Microsoft OS can not, this is a very bad thing and now I have to learn my course on my apple Iphone as it can switch keyboards, from English to Japanese


I only wanted a virtual keyboard to pull up on my PC that I can even click but I would say the Microsoft helpline persons were very professional, knowledgeable and patient however they do not make the operating systems

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Keyboard language - wont toggle language


I have a Korean keyboard installed and when I use windows key and space bar it toggles keyboard but not input language.. i have to manually click on icon next to it - A or 가, to get the correct language, It was working for all of 5 minutes the other day when I figured out that windows icon and space bar would change it but now it isn't and i have tried any suggestion on this sites and others already.. would love some assistance

 

Cortana hangs with Australian language HI T

We would suggest performing these steps:

• Go to Settings > Time & language >
  Language.
• Select + Add Languages to add English (United States).
• On the main Languages page, long press on English (Australia) and choose Remove. Afterwards, proceed restarting the phone by selecting the
  Restart phone button.

On the next following steps, reverse back the process we did on the first 3 steps:

• Select + Add Languages to add English (Australia) and proceed with the download prompt.
• Again on the main Languages page, long press on English (United States) and choose
  Remove, and restart phone.
• Once the phone has restarted with the correct English (Australia)
  language, go back to Settings > Extras > Hey Cortana, and begin training
  Cortana again.
