Windows 10: Why doesn't Microsoft support this processor for windows 11 , 2.90 gigahertz Intel Core...

My computer meets all of the requirements for windows 11 except it says Microsoft does support this Intel processor, 2.90 gigahertz Intel Core i7-7500U128 kilobyte primary memory cache512 kilobyte secondary memory cache4096 kilobyte tertiary memory cache64-bit readyMulti-core 2 totalHyper-threaded 4 totalWhy????

"New" 12th generation Intel Core i7-1255U not on "Windows 11 supported Intel processors" list

This seems like to prevents me from install Windows 11 22H2 patch 5017321 on my brand new Acer Aspire 5 Intel Core i7-1255U, that was OEM-preinstalled with Windows 11. After multiple attempt on Windows Update, no suggestion on new update appeared. Tried with "Windows Update Catalogue" but got a message that prevent install (Like: This installer not applicable for your device")

Note: I was able earlier via Windows Update to update earlier pacthes and drivers for this laptop but as mentioned above not the latest one.

Is the reason for my trouble the absent of "my "processor" in Windows 11 supported Intel processors list and will it be presented or newer on that list?

Strange, because "my" processor is has newer generation Intel Core i7 than what is on that list now.

My PC Health Check says my The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11.

PC Health Check shows my processor as Intel Core i7-7500U @ 2.70GHz. This is also listed on the list of supported CPU for Windows 11. Why is my CPU not identified as supported?

The minimum requirements for Windows 11 is at least 8th Gen processors. The processor you are using which is Intel Core i5-7300U is a 7th Gen processesor
