Windows 10: Why doesn't my Desktop show newly added items?

Newly added thumbnails, shortcuts and pictures etc, do now automatically show on my desktop, until I actually refresh the screen. So is there a way of repairing this small but annoying issue?

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

NEWLY added apps are not showing on Start App list

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

1. Is Cortana able to search the apps installed?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Type Start Settings in Search and hit
  Enter.
• Turn on Show recently added apps in jump list of Start of Taskbar.
