    Why doesn't my headset mic appear under input?


    My headset appears under the output audio section and works great, however the built in mic doesn't appear under the input section, so I am unable to use the microphone. It ends up defaulting to my laptop's built in microphone. I've tried reinstalling my audio drivers but it did not work. Can someone please help me.
