Windows 10: Why doesn't my snipping tool give me the possibility to move the image when I press Ctrl...

In Windows 10 it worked perfectly & was very useful to move image as I want. Now I can only scroll and for horizontal movement I need to click on horizontal bar its not so useful as "hand" tool. Does it my own bug or this "free move" feature disabled by some reason in new releases?

Hi Heather,

Snipping Tool has various options on how you can capture images in your computer. To change it to normal snipping, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + S to open Search Box.
• Type Snipping Tool, then click it.
• Click New.
• Click the drop-down menu in New.
• Select Rectangular Snip.

Please try this:

Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

Click Reset,

Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

• Windows Push Notifications System Service
  
• Windows Push Notifications User Service
