Windows 10: Why doesn't my sound settings detect my separate mic?

So, my mom go me a mini microphone because she knows I like to make videos, so I go to set it up and I test it, but it instead uses my built in microphone my computer has, I've tried many different tactics to try to get it to work, I attempted to unplug my heads phones and try and use it as a stand alone, but it didn't work, I tried to add another input the device, but it never was detected as a wired microphone, and it never worker, is it about the microphone I bought? Or did I miss some sort of step while setting this up? Please help me, it'd be great!

My system doesn`t detect Tytn II... Either Laptop not Desktop.

I do not know what to do..

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Mic detected but doesn't record sound.

Recently I decided to use my headset for recording purposes. I haven't used it in over 9 months until now. Everything connects and works normally except for the mic. It detects when the mic is plugged in, but doesn't record any audio. Please don't give me
stereo typical "Mic not working" answers. Heres a list of things I've tried that have not worked.

1. Changed slots on my pc to see if any others would work. (failed)

2. Ran the speech recognition, and microphone setup. (failed)

3. Checked to see if anything was muted in the mic properties. (failed)

4. Tried using several availiable configs on the "change sound" board. (failed)

5. Went to privacy settings and made sure everything was enabled (failed)

6. Updated, Uninstalled, and changed driver versions (failed)

7. Ran the windows audio trouble shoot (failed)

8. Checked for windows updates/driver updates (failed)

Those are some of the things I've tested that haven't worked. Looked at nearly every video covering how to fix a mic that is not detecting sound and none worked. I would appreciate if anyone could give me any assistance in getting my mic working again.
