Windows 10: Why doesn't VBS disable itself after toggling Mem Integrity and Virtual Plataform Machine...

I've done everything described in here, it worked in all versions of Windows 11 22H2 and 23H2, but now in 24H2 it doesn't work.Normally, it would say "Disabled" instead of "Enabled" after following these steps, but not in this case. I've tried countless things to disable VBS, using Microsoft scripts for it, delete registry keys/putting 0 on them, disabling Tramper Protection then VBS settings, disabling it through Group Policy, everything.Is this intended? Does 24H2 uses more VBS stuff or something like that? I know disabling SVM Mode would disable VBS, but I don't want to do that since I us

Unable to disable Hyper-V/VBS in Win11

Hi.

I have disabled all features in "optionalfeatures": Hyper-V, WSL, Sandbox, Virtual machine platform.

I have run "bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off"

I have disabled VBS in gpedit.msc (Device Guard → Turn On VBS → disable).

And rebooted of course. Updates are done.

But hypervisor is still enabled (VMware can't run VM with Intel VT-x/ETP feature)! VBS is enabled (msinfo32 show it enabled)!

What should I do to TURN IT OFF ????

p.s. A couple days before I just disabled Hyper-V, WSL, Sandbox, Virtual machine platform in "optionalfeatures" and all was OK.

But not now

p.p.s. I also can't turn off Memory integrity (in Windows Security → Device Security → Core isolation). It requires reboot and turns it ON again.

BSOD when launching Virtual Machine

I appreciate your effort on this. I understand how difficult it could be when the computer doesn’t work as it is supposed to, we will look into this for you. Please reply with the following details to assist you with the appropriate troubleshooting
steps:

• Which application are you using to create Virtual Machine?
  
• Does the issue occur only when launching a Virtual Machine?
  
• Have you reinstalled Windows on the computer?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

I have analyzed the dump files shared by you. Since the issue occurs when you launch Virtual Machine, I suggest you to try disabling the VMWare USB Arbitration Service and check if that helps. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type services.msc and click on
   OK.
   
3. Look for the VMWare USB Arbitration Service and double click on it to open
   Properties.
   
4. Select Disabled from the drop down for
   Startup and Stop the service.
   
5. Click on Apply and OK.
