    hi why doesn't w10 device manager show drivers like w7 (maybe even w8.1 does show them )? is there a way to enable it under w10 ? for drivers and w7 , i have added a screenshot the screenshot is not from computer , because my w10 and w7 are not in english thanks

    Lost Bluetooth drivers since moving from W7 to W10

    Hi,

    I've lost the Bluetooth drivers on my HP Touchsmart 520 since upgrading from W7 to W10. Where can I find a replacement driver?

    HP website recommended coming to MS so here I am.

    I've looked in the device list for show hidden but there's nothing.

    W7 or W10

    Hi everyone,

    I have got W10 for a while. Now I have upgraded my PC. But, Lots of part of the motherboard / sound, graphic / can't work properly, because their drivers were writing for W7. Under W10 they just work on basic level. The issue about the compatibility makes lags
    in games and in other type of usage. Now I would like to get back to W7 my pc. How can I do it? Obviously I am over the 10 days since upgrade. I, also, do not want to lose my works, software. Any suggestion? Should I buy a new HDD with W7?

    Device Manager Un-Hiding Hidden Devices

    When you connect a plug and play device, Windows Plug and Play manager detects it, finds and installs the driver. Device Manager lists the device with a solid icon.

    The driver is only removed when you uninstall the device, not simply by disconnecting the device. When the device is disconnected, its driver is still installed. By default, Device Manager only displays connected devices. When you show hidden devices, note the Bluetooth icon you see is semi-transparent (not opaque). That indicates a "non-present" device. Sometimes also called a "ghost" device. The driver is still installed but the device is not currently detected (i.e. not connected).

    Device can be disconnected when
    • Device unplugged (e.g. removing a USB device)
    • Turning a device OFF
    • Disabling the device in BIOS (then windows won't detect it) or
    • Device failure

    So
    • Check BIOS as suggested
    • Check board connections
    • Can b/t be turned off by a switch? or keyboard combination?
    Also possible the b/t h/w failed
