    why doesn't Windows 10 have a designated PC folder for 'books' and 'audiobooks" like it...


    In today's world where Windows 10 users are downloading books and audiobooks, why doesn't Windows 10 have a designated PC folder for 'books' and 'audiobooks" like it does for 'music' and 'pictures'? It would be nice to be able to find my books in one location whether they are from personal MP3 downloads, Bookfunnel files, Audible files, Amazon books, Kobo books, Overdrive, etc.


    The only option right now is to download or save my book files in the Document folder, which makes backing up my Document folder a longer process than necessary.

    In today's world where Windows 10 users are downloading books and audiobooks, why doesn't Windows 10 have a designated PC folder for 'books' and 'audiobooks" like it does for 'music' and 'pictures'? It would be nice to be able to find my books in one location
    whether they are from personal MP3 downloads, Bookfunnel files, Audible files, Amazon books, Kobo books, Overdrive, etc.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
