Why doesn't windows 11 natively support receiving bluetooth audio from other devices?

Sometimes i just wanna watch a quick vid on my phone. There's this app that has this functionality which is on the microsoft store and would likely be relatively simple to implement.https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9N9WCLWDQS5JThis app does exactly what I'm looking for but the only issue is it just stops working after a while, probably because it isn't officially supported and is more than likely a proof of concept for the funtionality. In 2022 this functionality should be supported, and simply add a toggle on the device for sending or receiving information from the corresponding bluet

    :)

  2. bluetooth headphones connecting as microphone but not audio

After a driver updated my bluetooth devices connect as voice but not as audio I have tried to:

    • Connect it manually in the sound managment (nothing happen, it doesn´t connect)
    • Uninstall and install drivers (nothing happen)
    • Return to the previous version (nothing happen)
    • Trobleshooting (it can´t start because it is not connected as an audio device)
    • Updated to windows 11 (the problem is still there)

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

Wait, but have you done the whole step-by-step guide described in the OP? DDL/DTS isn't supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 either, unless if you do the steps listed there.

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
