Why do you even have the button ? Microsoft is a joke. Another thing why do I need to download VS Redistributables? Should someone at your company not be smart enough to actually make a managing app or I dunno include it in your forced updates? I mean I know it is too much to ask that you actually recognize a program needs these packs informs the user and then automatically downloads them. Oh and your error messages should I even go there? Do you know how what error handling is? Should I really have to sit here and copy down the stupid code and look on other forums to figure out why your softw

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    Thanks again!!

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I ran SeaTools. These are the results:

Why doesn't windows installation media actually format the hard drive?

Replacing old hard drive, need way to copy Windows installation across

    Hey Guys,
What would be the best way of copying/imaging the entire contents of an old system drive over to a replacement hard disk for the same machine? I need to copy the Windows installations and all other data to the new drive, and then format the old drive to use as a backup.

Any suggestions? *Smile Why doesn't windows installation media actually format the hard drive? :)
