Windows 10: Why don't my filename changes get reflected in the actual files now?

I'm in Windows Explorer. I select a file and make a copy. I rename the file "New Name.xlsb", as I've done for 30 years now... However, in new Microsoft work, when I then open the file in Excel for example the filename is "Original Name - Copy.xlsb" rather than "New Name.xlsb".Anyone know how to avoid this disconnect? Or is this just the mess that is OneDrive / Sharepoint nowadays?

Accessing Files

• Don’t start or end your filename with a space, period, hyphen, or underline.
• Save your file in a Folder on the C: drive, Desktop or in a Directory (ie) Pictures, Music, Downloads etc

 

When is filename changes saved and written on the drive?

Hello everyone

Whenever I hoover the mouse over a filename or press "rename" so it turns blue - then press enter or press next to the file - without making any changes to the filename.

Does it then save the exact same filename again and write it again on the drive?

Or

Does it only save the name and write it on the disk drive, if there is an actual change in the filename?

Does it autosave on drive, whenever name is highlighted, regards of changes was made or not, or is it like when opening a file in "read" mode and not saving?

Properties of the folder containing the file, it only changes when there is in an actual change in the filename.

WarRock 3D Detection don´t works

Hello Guys,

i had a problem with my Card. The card didn´t wanted to change in 3D Modus. Ok now i removed the other 2 Pins and now it runs in 3D Modus in 3DMark06 too. The Card is a HD 2900GT. But my Game WarRock don´t runs in 3D Modus. Is there a List where i can start the game in 3D Manual? Because in Automatic it don´t want start because the Card don´t see that it is an 3D Game. Can someone help me?
