Windows 10: Why don't OFX transaction exports not work with many banks?

Why don't OFX transaction exports not work with many banks? Most of the banks I have accounts with no longer support OFX export for a account transactions and those that do don't now function a well as they originally did. I have one checking account bank that properly completes OFX downloads as originally intended, some that download transactions but don't recognize previously downloaded transactions resulting all transactions previously downloaded to be downloaded again, and other banks that reject the download file as corrupt at the point of download attempt. Banking transaction issues.

This will probably be resolved in a future update to Edge (time unknown) but the solution, at present, is to use another browser for these banking transactions.

OFX file cannot be opened

I still can't open a file with an ofx handle, it sends me to the app store and that suggested app doesn't run. I need to be able to open files with ofx ending as I work as a book keeper and some banks use this handle.

Banking transaction issues.

I've got a strange issue with my bank site... since the last update of dec 10 2015 on my EDGE. when i try to transfer money in between 2 of my accounts, or if i try to pay a bill thru the banking site, the system kicks me out without any confirmation
# without doing any transactions ...

But it work on google chrome, IE, Firefox... there is someting new with the latest update (proxi, firewall, protection's setting, protocol, ???? Any idea why there a problem with the secure transactions???
