Windows 10: Why dose my gaming laptops frame rate skip when plugged into tv via hdmi cable?

For at least a week after factory resetting my laptop and plugging in my laptop to tv via HDMI cable it worked perfectly but as of today, the frame rate started to skip. I made sure all driver/windows/Nvidia graphic driver updates were installed and it still skips frames is there a way to fix this? I hate it it never happened to me before. also I have cleaned my laptop fans via compressed air so it has nothing to do with thatVideo 1 is a game without an HDMI cable plugged in and video 2 is with an HDMI cable plugged in ALSO MINOR JUMPSCARE WARNINGVIDEO 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yt

enabling viewing of computer content on tv using hdmi cable

yesterday I plugged the hdmi cable into the laptop and the tv and was able to watch a movie. Today I tried doing the same and all I got on the tv was HDMI3 in yellow at the top left hand corner of the black tv screen. There is no picture on the TV screen
- it's just black. I purchased a new HDMI cable, plugged it in turned tv and laptop on same result - no picture on the TV just a black screen.

Any suggestions?

 

HDMI output disappeared on laptop - TV no longer plays audio when connected with HDMI cable.

I connected my laptop to the TV last night via HDMI to watch some shows when I noticed it wasn't playing audio like it usually does. Visual was fine, but audio was only coming from my laptop. Went through various
settings and tried everything from games to mp3s, but it's like my laptop would not recognize my TV for the purposes of audio.

When I go into sound devices, whether the HDMI cable is plugged in or not, there is no Realtek HDMI Output in the devices section, even with disabled/unplugged devices ticked. It just has "speaker/headphones."

Things I have done:

• Uninstalled/reinstalled speakers
  
• Uninstalled/reinstalled/updated audio drivers
  
• Updated Nvidia graphics card drivers
  
• General Windows update
  
• Restarting laptop
  

It's not an issue with the TV as it plays audio fine when the Roku is plugged in. It's not an issue with the cable itself, as I have another brand new HDMI cable that I plugged in and I still get the same issue.
It's worked normally from February up until yesterday when it suddenly didn't.

Laptop is an HP 15-au018wm, Windows 10, all drivers are up to speed.

 

When I plug my hdmi cable from my laptop to Toshiba TV, it it too zoomed in on the TV.
