    Why dose my pc keep crashing?


    Hi, I bought a gaming PC about a year ago, and since then I have had problems with it. At first, it was everything I wanted, but after some months it started crashing and having blue screens, and I just ended up not using my PC at all. But a couple of weeks ago I said that I really wanted to use my PC.I fixed the blue screens, and now only my games are crashing. But I have a powerful PC. Everything is smooth, but randomly, my game just crashes with no error, and my temps seem to be good. I even tried to use stress tests, and even those are running very well, but as soon as I enter a game

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

    PC Crashing on every game Why dose my pc keep crashing? :(

    OK what i am gonna do - i will take second pc from my friend... Will build all my sistem on his MB... And then if it crashes... - will step by step take out my parts and put his - untill i have no crash any more... Damn it sounds stupid and will take like all day :S... Any other ideas how to make effective testing if i have second PC?

    Or maybe give it away to disruption? *Big Grin Why dose my pc keep crashing? :D
