Windows 10: Why following the 21H2 update do I have to log in twice?

Obvious enough question but every time I power on a laptop/ PC following this update I need to log in twice. On the 1st occasion of entering the correct credentials the screen flickers and brings me back to the same log in screen. This isn't an issue specific to one device, I work in IT and happens on EVERY device that's updated to the latest and greatest version of Win 10.And if anyone knows as to why Microsoft continuously hijack the default PDF program and change it from Adobe Reader to Edge I'd love to know because it's always fun after an update is released to receive near constant calls

Have to log in twice after latest windows 10 update. Adobe update did not do this.

If you're having trouble with logging in on your PC twice, then you can try the following steps to remove double login:

• Go to Settings, then select Account.
• On the left panel, select Sign-in options.
• Under Privacy or Confidentiality section, turn off
  Use my sign in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart.
  

After doing so, reboot your PC and see if the same issue will occur.

KB4023057 Version 21H2 appears in Windows updater for a moment

Hi

In Windows Update KB4023057 Version 21H2 appears and it wants to downloading but stops immediately at 0% and disappears.
Under View update history the update appears as Successfully installed on 9/9/2021.

I can manually check for updates and the update appears again for 2 seconds.

I run the Windows 10 Update troubleshooter. Didn't found any issues. Wanted to uninstall the update but it isn't listed under Uninstall Updates in View Update History.

Not sure if relevant; As Optional quality update available is cumulative preview for 21H2 (KB5007253). Usually I don't install optional updates.

Any suggestions?
