    Why for the past couple of weeks has Windows 11 switched between asking for my password and...


    Since upgrading to Windows 11, and before while I was still on 10, I have used a PIN to log in. However, for the past couple of weeks it has started asking for my password instead most of the time. About 75% of the time it wants my password now, and 25% my PIN. Is there a way to make this stop? I don't use sleep mode or sign out. I turn my comp off while I'm not using it, so I don't know if it happens while waking from sleep or if I sign out and then sign back in. Thanks in advance for any help. Have a good one.

    Lost My Administrator Password

    To which "this" are you referring?
    - If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
    - If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

    You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

    Different BSOD errors past couple of weeks

    I've been getting different BSOD errors the past couple of weeks. Originally thought it was a RAM issue as it usually happens after I've been playing a game for a while. Did the memtest no errors showed up. Bought new RAM, still didn't fix the issue. Next
    thing I tried was a fresh reinstall of Windows 10 - 2 days later back to the same issue.

    Can anyone help me figure out the issue?
