    Why has microsoft copilot installed itself on my windows 10 pc?


    I did not ask for this feature, I didn't even intentionally update my pc and while I am glad that I seem to have successfully uninstalled it, I am infuriated that it was installed without my knowledge nor consent. Generative AI is technology I personally believe to be genuinely evil and not something I would interact with willingly under any circumstances. Knowing that this feature is irremovable in win11 is the final excuse I need never to install it. If any Microsoft exec cares please burn down all of your AI infrastructure and reassign all those staff, it is a waste of money, talent, time a

    Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

    I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
