Windows 10: Why has Microsoft not fixed the "Notifications unhiding the taskbar" and locking it open?

Why has Microsoft not fixed the "Notifications unhiding the taskbar issue that has plagued users for years and years and years? Why does MSFT not reply to these posts? Why does MSFT just lock the posts and never comment on them. Where can we go to action on this really really annoying bug? And it does not tell you which app is insisting on locking it open.

Why has Microsoft not fixed the "Notifications unhiding the taskbar issue that has plagued users for years and years and years? Why does MSFT not reply to these posts? So the problem seems to be this and what fixed it for me unless I got a new message or alert from a message in teams or discord which left the taskbar open instead of hiding but it was on top of the other window. I had notifications that I had received showing as a number next to my time. Once I cleared the notifications, the unhide on top of other windows started working, so this is a Microsoft issue here. They need to fix where the Notifications that are being received into the menu by your time not make the functionality of unhiding the taskbar stop working if you have not read the notifications.

Follow these steps to check if it works:

Step 1: Open the Windows Settings menu by pressing the Windows Key and “I,” or alternatively search for Settings in the Windows search bar and click the corresponding result.

Step 2: Click Notifications & Actions in the left-hand menu. This will take you to a screen providing access to all of the settings related to notifications and the Action Center.

Step 3: Click the System icon, then select Notifications and actions from the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Look for the Notifications subheading, where you will see a number of toggles for various types of notifications. The following is a list of the settings you can toggle on this screen:

• Get notifications from apps and other senders
• Show notifications on the lock screen
• Show alarms, reminders, and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen
• Hide notifications when duplicating my screen
• Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows

You may just turn them off the notification as you need.
