Windows 10: Why has Microsoft Store has lost my April 22 app purchase?

In April 2022 I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 from the Microsoft Store for use on my 5 year old laptop with Windows 10 – successfully downloaded and used. I have now have a new, more powerful laptop with Windows 11 pre-loaded. When I log in on my new laptop to the Microsoft Store, Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 is not available to download. A phone call to Microsoft seems to get nowhere, and there seems to be no way to email or chat to Microsoft. Cannot activate Win10 Pro after Microsoft Store app purchase

Hello guys,

My laptop came pre-installed with Win10 Home 64bit and I recently purchased a Win 10/11 Pro licence from the Microsoft Store app. Unfortunately, having some issues activating the digital licence for Win10 Pro.

Here is the situation:

• Logged into Microsoft account used for the purchase (also received the email receipt of the purchase)
• Already connected to stable internet

What I tried so far:

Entering the Win10 Pro generic key:



Received error 0x800700005:





Clicking Close returned another error 0xC004F034:





Clicking Troubleshoot re-activated my Win10 Home so still not on Pro.

Win 10 Pro suddenly became Win 10 Ent from MS Store app:

  Have you added any alias to your Microsoft Account, from which you have purchased the apps?
  
• 
  Are you able to view your purchased app other all the Microsoft account, from which you are logging in to your computer?
  

I would suggest you the run Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type troubleshooting in the
  Search area on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
  
• 
  Select Windows store Apps.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instruction.
