Windows 10: Why has my internal keyboard suddenly stop working?

A few weeks ago, I was pressing randoms keys on my keyboard simultaneously like Alt+V, Alt+Ctrl+V. I was just pressing stuff, When I decided to shut down my computer I couldn't press any letters keys only numbers. I did encounter this once before but when I shut down my computer it started working again. I have a ASUS gaming laptop and when I tried to figure out what was the problem I couldn't find anything that fit my computers dilemma. My keyboard glows when I turn on my computer and I've noticed that the keys don't glow any more so maybe that could be a reason? Here's a list of things I've

• Are you getting any error messages that could pertain to your keyboard?
• What are the troubleshooting steps you have done so far?
• Are there any noticeable physical damages on the keyboard?
• Is the keyboard connected to the PC wired or wireless?
• Does this issue happen intermittently, or all the time?

• How do you connect the keyboard? Is it the internal keyboard on a laptop, a PS/2 one, a USB one, or a Bluetooth one?
  
• What were you doing when it stopped working?
  
• Try connecting a different keyboard. Does it work?
  
• Reboot your computer and try entering the BIOS settings using the keyboard. Can you enter the BIOS?
