Windows 10: Why has the maximize button disappeared in one of my apps?

I'm using an application called Postman. My practice, whenever I want to make an app maximized, is to drag the window to the top of the screen/monitor. That maximizes it, then I go about my business. But importantly, the minimize, maximize, and close buttons always remain available.Well, for some reason today when I did that to Postman, the maximize button disappeared. The minimize and close buttons are both still there, it's just the maximize button which has disappeared. Furthermore, all other apps still have the minimize, maximize, and close buttons. So, why is it that Postman has lost the

mouse cursor disappears on taskbar and on windows control buttons (maximize, close)

After installing Fall Creators update today, the mouse cursor disappears on certain elements.

• disappears on taskbar area (when in that area, also if taskbar is still hidden)
• disappears on maximized windows controlbuttons (maximize, close)

Reinstalling mousedriver and upgrade to newest Nvidia gpu-driver didnt fix it.

What is the solution?

Based on the picture you have attached, there is a minimize button (the underscored symbol), then the square symbol is the maximize button, finally the red X is the close button. These are all on the top right portion of the attached screenshot.

This might be caused by a software conflict. As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest resetting the app and see if it helps. To do that, follow the steps below:

• Go to Settings.
• Select System.
• On the left-panel, click Apps & features.
• Look for the app on the list then click it.
• Click the Advanced options link.
• Click the Reset button.
• If resetting did not work or not available, click the Repair
  button instead.
• Restart your PC.

If the issue still persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and see if it helps.
